James is Cruisin'

James is now standing up and walking his little car all over the house...until he hits a wall or a piece of furniture and has to be redirected. I can't believe that this year is flying by so fast. He is trying to say "cat" every time he sees Murphy, and when I give him his toy phone he holds it to his ear and yells, "Ehhhh!"

James's Baptism

James was baptized this weekend. It was a beautiful weekend and we were so happy to have friends and family here with us. Except for the church being as hot as a sauna due to no AC, everything was perfect. When the minister started talking to the children about prayer, Harris thanked God for his toys, Pop, and all his family and friends. His Giraffe "Madelyn" also came along for support. After dinner, the kids created their own band. It was quite entertaining!

Library Visit

The last time Harris and I went to the library, I decided to also try to find a book for myself. After explaining to Harris that the books I was browsing through were books with no pictures and only words, he quickly asked in a loud voice, "Are you trying to pick out a book for Daddy to read when he's doin' his poop?" Although I could see someone the next isle over, and knew he had been heard, I thought it was so funny and innocent! It was easy not to be embarrassed since the he said it about William and not me!
